Our Contribution to SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Our projects promote the responsible use of renewable resources by developing selective fractionation and conversion processes for lignocellulosic biomass to produce platform chemicals such as formic acid, vanillin, and levulinic acid.

The optimization of catalytic processes for converting biomass components into valuable chemicals, as well as the recycling and reuse of catalysts and process water, support sustainable production methods with minimal waste and low environmental impact.
