By plane
Take the rapid transit train S1 (green line) to the main train station, then continue as described below.
Alternative:
Take the rapid transit train S11 or the Airport Express to the U/S train station Ohlsdorf, the underground train U1 (blue line, in the direction of Ohlstedt/Wandsbek Gartenstadt) to the Kellinghusenstraße station, then the underground train U3 (yellow line, in the direction of Merkenstraße/Mümmelmannsberg) to the Schlump station. From there, it is an approximately 5-minute walk.
Alternative:
Take the underground train U1 (blue line) from the Ohlsdorf station to Stephansplatz. Walk approximately 2 minutes to the Dammtor train station and board the metro bus line 4 or 5 (as described below).
By train
Coming from the north:
In trains ending at the Altona terminal, get out in Altona. In trains that stop at the main train station, exit the train at the Dammtor train station or at the main train station at the latest.
From all other directions:
Exit the train at the Dammtor train station (first station after the main train station) or in Altona at the latest.
From Altona train station:
Rapid transit trains: Take the S11 (green line, in the direction of Ohlsdorf) or the S31 (purple line, in the direction of Neugraben/Harburg) to the Dammtor train station.
From the main train station:
Rapid transit trains: Take the S11 (green line, in the direction of Altona/Blankenese) or the S31 (purple line, in the direction of Altona) or the S21 (dark red line, in the direction of Elbgaustraße/Pinneberg) to the Dammtor train station.
From the Dammtor train station:
Take the Universität/Edmund-Siemers-Allee exit, board metro bus line 4 or 5 (in the direction of Nedderfeld/Niendorf/Schnelsen, Eidelstedt/Wildacker), get off at Grindelhof (2 stations). Alternatively, it is about a 15-minute walk.
By car
Finding parking is difficult. If possible, use public transport. A limited number of visitor parking places are available. You must register with the building’s porter in order to use these, however.
