Preface
On November 11, 2019, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) announced to support the new Graduiertenkolleg (GrK, Research Training Group) “Hybrid Structures on the Nanoscale: Chemical Concepts to Prepare Heterogeneous Nanostructures with Anisotropic Material Properties”.
The Research Training Group aims to support early career researchers; 15 PhD positions will be funded by the DFG over the next 4.5 years.
The first cohort of highly talented and motivated PhD candidates has started their 3-years PhD studies in the interdisciplinary field of the GrK NANOHYBRID in April 2020.
