Dip-Coater RDC 15
The dip-coater RDC 15 by Bungard company is an instrument for coating of various substrates. The substrate is dipped in a coating liquid or solution whereby a thin liquid film remains on the substrate while pulling back out. The layer thickness and its quality can be influenced by factors such as temperature, pressure, concentration of the coating solution and emergence speed and angle. The immersion and withdrawal speed can be adjusted between 30 - 10,010 mm/min, the immersion and dripping time can be varied between 0 seconds and 100 hours. The diving process can be repeated up to 8 times.

Electrochemical setup
The BioLogic SP-150e potentiostat and VMP3B-5 power booster are used for electrochemical studies of polyoxometalates (POMs) using cyclic and square-wave voltammetry, in a standard three-electrode setup. They are also used in heterogeneous catalyst synthesis, where different structures get coated with metal particles using electro galvanic deposition.

Rotary Evaporator
A rotary evaporator (rotovap) is a device used in chemical laboratories for the efficient and gentle removal of solvents from samples by evaporation.

Zentrifuge 2-16P Sigma
The benchtop zentrifuge 2-16P of the Sigma company is used for separation of solid substances in liquids which are formed during a chemical reaction for example. Typically the centrifuge is used with 6x15 ml tubes at 10.000 rpm. However it is also possible to use 50 ml tubes. A different rotor for these 50 ml tubes is available, which can hold up to 12 tubes and be operated at a maximum of 4.000 rpm.

Glassware – reflux apparatus
This reflux apparatus is used for the synthesis of POM-catalysts where the reacting solution is stirred for several hours on a magnetic heating stirrer under reflux conditions.
