General Information:
The German Liquid Crystal Conference 2011 brings together scientists working on mesoscalic systems such as low molecular and polymeric liquid crystals, colloids, glycolipids,micelles, membranes, thin films and block copolymers. The topics comprise the chemical synthesis and instrumental characterisation, the theory and modelling as well as relevant research and applications in the field of biological, photonic and charge transfer systems.
Scientific Program:
The conference is planned for approximately 30 short, medium and long lectures, which will be limited to 20, 30 and 45 minutes respetively. The last five minutes of each lecture are reserved for questions and discussion. Poster sessions with time for intensive discussions are scheduled.
