NMR Spectroscopy
NMR spectroscopy (NMR: Nulcear Magnetic Resonance) is a very versatile and important method in chemical analysis. With its help it is possible to obtain information about the structure, dynamics and interactions of molecules. Measurements are possible both in solution and solid state. The area of applications range from structural elucidation to the characterization of synthetic products, the identification of unknown substances , characterization of materials or the analysis of biomolecules. The NMR division is managed as a central scientific facility and users come from all institutes of the department.
