Sustainable Automation: Increasing the Durability of Soft Robotic Grippers

Enhancing the lifetime of soft robotic grippers contributes directly to sustainability. By not only selecting the right base materials, but also by optimizing the mixture of rubber materials and additives, we can significantly improve the grippers' resistance to wear and fatigue. This increased durability means less frequent replacement and reduced material waste, which lowers the overall environmental impact. Through thoughtful material selection and innovative material formulations, we create more sustainable solutions for automation.
