Energieforschungsverbund Hamburg
The Energy Research Association Hamburg (Energieforschungsverbund Hamburg, EFH) was founded in 2013. It aims at pooling and bundling all research activities of Hamburg's universities in the field of energy research and thus contributing to a sustainable solution of the energy problem.
In addition to the University of Hamburg (UHH), the network includes the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), the University of Applied Sciences (HAW), Helmut Schmidt University (HSU) and the HafenCity University (HCU). Each of these organisations is represented by its own commissioner of energy research. In the case of the UHH, this is Prof. Dr. Michael Fröba together with his research assistant Dr. Natascha Speil.
The EFH is intended to be a hub between the universities and thus a contact point for scientists and entrepreneurs interested in a joint project. For further information about the work of the EFH, the competencies and research potential at the individual universities or the partners of the EFH, please click on the link below. You will then be immediately redirected to the official EFH website.
Do you have a project idea and still need suitable project partners (from science and/or industry) or would you like to receive regular information about current calls for proposals and funding opportunities in the field of energy research? Then you are welcome to contact us!
