Last Wednesday, we celebrated the “Tag der Pharmazie” at the Institute of Pharmacy in Hamburg, an event that takes place annually since 2003.
David Schrey represented our group in the mini-symposium, presenting on “In vitro, In silico, in vivo – How do we bridge the gap between infection models and the patient?” where he highlighted parts of his PhD research. During the coffee break, the elective students presented their work in a poster session.
Later, our current DPhG president Prof. Dr. Ulrich Jaehde gave a presentation on “Medication safety – more than just medication analyses,” followed by the honoring ceremony for graduates of the 1st and 2nd state examinations.
The evening ended with a wonderful get together and scientific exchange over some snacks and drinks.
A big thank you to all organizers and student helpers from our Institute of Pharmacy and the Hamburg Chamber of Pharmacists for this special event and to the all presenters for sharing insight into their work.
