In February, Katrin Janota joined our group and will be with us for the next four months. She is currently a master's student in the study program Bioanalytical Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Analysis at the Hochschule Fresenius Idstein and will conduct the research for her final thesis during her time here, which is titled "Antibiotic treatment optimization for carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa using in-vitro methods and bioanalytical methods". For this, she will mainly use hollow-fiber infection model, HPLC, and MS/MS.
