New publication on a new algorithm for model-informed precision dosing in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics

Selection of the ‘correct’ underlying pharmacometric model is crucial for model-informed precision dosing. David Uster from our team developed a novel learning algorithm to select the best-fitting model from a set of models for an individual patient while TDM is performed. The algorithm was superior over using a single model for all patients shown in large simulation study and on a clinical dataset for the antibiotic vancomycin.
