Examination dates - Examination registration

Important information for exam registration

Students must register for the exam independently by entering an iTAN in STiNE. In case of technical problems, students are kindly requested to contact the Study Office.

Registration period for all module exams is from the start of the respective STiNE-Registrationperiod for the upcoming semester until midnight three full days before the exam date!

If students are not registered for the examination, they may not take part in the examination or the examination will not be assessed. An excuse (e.g. sick note) can only be considered if the student is registered for the exam.

Register for your first exam date when you register for the module and, if necessary, for the second exam date and subsequent dates as soon as there is a negative result in STiNE (you cannot do it before then). You can only register for the third examination date when the module is next offered (in the next semester).

Example

Registration deadline	February 4th 12 pm
1st day	February 5th (does not matter if weekday or Sunday and holiday)
2nd day	February 6th
3rd day, exam date	February 7th, e.g. 10 am (time on this day does not matter)

How do I know if I am registered in?

You can find your exam registrations as follows:
In the Studies tab, click on Exams in the navigation column and then on Upcoming Exams. On the page that then opens (check setting for the current semester) you can then click on Registration for exams in the top right-hand corner. .

It is important to set the correct semester (Attention: Sometimes the exam is still in the starting semester of the module!)
