Sample Handling & Registration

In principle, we would very much appreciate, if first-time users introduce themselves to us personally!

Powder Samples

• Please fill out (electronically) the respective request form (PDF)
• Send this form in advance via eMail to xray.chemie"AT"uni-hamburg.de
• You can place your samples on the bench of the fume hood of room AC 118.
• The sample containers should be clearly and legibly marked.
• Sensitive samples need special treatment - please contact us to discuss details.
• When the measurements are done, we will place the data on your \\messdaten folder.
• Please pick up your samples after the measurement is finished!

Single Crystals

• Please fill out (electronically) the respective request form (PDF)
• Send this form in advance via eMail to xray.chemie"AT"uni-hamburg.de
• Ideally, the crystals have dimensions of approx. 0.5 mm (edge length).
• Make an appointment with Ms. Nevoigt for the handover of the samples, see here.
• Please pick up your samples after the measurement is finished!
