New publication on optimized experimental checkerboard designs

Antibiotic combination therapies can increase efficacy and protect against the emergence of resistance. To enable pharmacodynamic interactions screening with a high throughput, efficient and reliable methods are required to streamline interaction testing. In his study, Niklas Kroemer from our research team developed adaptive experimental checkerboard designs which reduce resources and labor needed for in vitro testing and still identifying drug interactions in an efficient manner.
