New publication in Lancet Microbe

A few days ago, the article “Research priorities towards precision antibiotic therapy to improve patient care” was published in the Lancet Microbe. The paper discussed six priority areas for antibiotic pharmacology research spanning from antibiotic-pathogen interactions over modelling approaches to the application of these principles to support development of novel therapies und therapeutic drug monitoring. The article, to which Sebastian contributed, was a collaborative project between International Society of Anti-Infective Pharmacology (ISAP), the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Anti-Infectives Study Group (EPASG) and the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy Anti-Infective Pharmacology Working Group (ISAC).
