The Technical Electrocatalysis Laboratory is focused on the development of advanced nano-structured materials combined with in-situ and ex-situ analytical techniques for various electrochemical reactions of in particular importance in fuel cell and electrolyzer systems.

Partnerships among research and development disciplines, countries and nations as well as academia, companies, government and society support and encourage our work on affordable and clean energy technologies such as fuel cells and electrolysis. Green hydrogen produced by renewable energy plays a key role in the energy transition in various sectors.

With our lectures, seminars and lab courses in various bachelor´s and master´s programs we ensure an inclusive and equitable quality education for our students. We also promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
