Research topic

Cora frost is working on the synthesis of photocatalytically active dot-in-rod semiconductor-metal hybrid nanostructures. The aim is to synthesize structures with two different metal tips for photocatalytic overall water splitting. The band alignment separates the exciton generated by sunlight. The electron and the hole can than catalyze the redox reaction.
