Key aspects of activity
After my studies of chemistry at the University of Hamburg and a diploma thesis on NMR spectroscopy on CdS nanocrystals (1997) in the working group of Prof. Dr H. Weller, I did my doctoral thesis in the working group of Prof. Dr H. Weller under the supervision of PD Dr Alexander Eychmüller on CdTe nanocrystals, which was completed with the dissertation entitled ‘II-VI Semiconductor Nanocrystals: Surface Investigations and Applications’ in 2001.
Today I am head of the advanced practical course for physical chemistry in the bachelor's degree programme in chemistry and run exercise groups and seminars. I organise the teaching distribution at the institute.
In Prof Dr N. Bigall's working group, I am mainly responsible for the FTIR spectrometer, a DSC and a TG.
