Schwerpunkte
- Photoluminescence properties of semiconducting nanowires
- Confocal spectroscopy measurements of nanowires in flow channels
- Investigation of photobrightening on nanowires
Research Topic
Roman is investigating the optical properties of semiconducting nanomaterials. By performing confocal spectroscopy on samples in a dedicated gasflow setup, he examines the influence of the chemical environment on photoinduced processes of nanomaterials. His research focuses on the effect of oxygen on the photoluminescence and Raman characteristics of wet-chemically synthezised CdSe quantum wires.
