Khalid Iqbal successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled “Application of pharmacometric approaches to optimise antibiotic therapy with focus on defining susceptibility breakpoints and dosing strategies in immunocompromised patients” on May 5 2023. During his time with us from December 2017 to December 2021 he published four first author papers. In 2021, his research was awarded with a Young Investigator award at the annual meeting of ESCMID PK/PD of Anti-Infectives Study Group (EPASG) and International Society of Anti-infective Pharmacology (ISAP) in 2021.

We wish Khalid the best of luck and thank him for his valuable contributions.
