Internship—biochemistry / molecular biology
The internship in biochemistry / molecular biology (62-021.5) is for students of the Bachelors of Science in Molecular Life Sciences and Computing in Science and of Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Biology, Chemistry, and Nanosciences.
It imparts fundamental experimental knowledge in the fields of protein chemistry, immunology, and molecular biology. The internship is divided into a protein chemistry and a molecular biology segment. A colloquium is held after each segment, during which the theoretical background and context are discussed. Depending on the degree program, the internship concludes with either a final colloquium or a written examination.
The internship comprises a total of 4 different experiments—each of which is conducted over a period of 4 to 5 days.
