Work for doctoral thesis started in March 2001 in Helsinki University of Technology.

Up to present the work has comprised stereospesific propene polymerisation utilising new types of metallocene catalysts with different cocatalysts and reaction conditions. The characterisation of polymer microstructure and polymerisation mechanisms by  NMR, GPC, DSC and UV-VIS has also been a great interest.
