9.4.3 Scandium group and rare earth metals
Abstract
This chapter provides diffusion tables for hydrogen (H), deuterium (D), and tritium (T) in solid metals. The solid metals listed are alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, and scandium group and rare earth metals. Data for alkaline earth metals including beryllium (Be) and barium (Ba), and scandium group and rare earth metals including yttrium (Y) and lutetium (Lu), are tabulated in terms of diffusants (H, D and T), hydrogen concentration, preexponential factor (D0) and activation enthalpy (Q) values, temperature range and remarks.
