Abstract

This chapter illustrates figures for chemical diffusion in inhomogeneous binary alloys like Ag-Au, Al-Cu, Al-Li, Al-Ni, Au-Cu, Au-Fe, Au-Sn, Co-Ni, Co-Pd, Cu-Si, and Cu-Sn. The interdiffusion coefficient and intrinsic diffusion coefficient of various inhomogeneous binary alloys are shown in the figures. Activation energy and pre-exponential for interdiffusion in various inhomogeneous binary alloys are also illustrated.
