Diffusion in Solid Metals and Alloys · Figs. 1 - 45

Abstract

This chapter illustrates figures for self-diffusion in homogeneous binary alloys and intermediate phases. Diffusion coefficient versus concentration of homogeneous binary alloys involving Ag-Al binary alloy, Ag-Au binary alloy, Ag-Cd binary alloy, Ag-Cu binary alloy, Ag-In binary alloy, Ag-Mg binary alloy, Ag-Sb binary alloy, Ag-Sn binary alloy, Ag-Zn binary alloy, Al-Co binary alloy, Al-Fe binary alloy, Al-Ni binary alloy, Al-Zn binary alloy, Au-Cd binary alloy, Au-Cu binary alloy, Au-Ta binary alloy and Au-Zn binary alloy, at various temperatures are plotted. This chapter also illustrates graphical representations of diffusion coefficient versus reciprocal temperature of the homogeneous binary alloys, and a graphical representation of 195/199Au isotope effect in AuZn binary alloy for diffusion versus Zn concentration at various temperatures.
