2.2.13 Aluminum group metals

Abstract

This chapter provides data of self-diffusion in aluminum (Al), gallium (Ga), indium (In) and thallium (Tl) aluminum group metals. Self-diffusion data of the aluminum group metals are tabulated in terms of pre-exponential factor (D0), activation enthalpy (Q), temperature range. Information on hcp and bcc structure and mechanical sectioning and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) of aluminum group metals are also provided.
