12.2.6 Interphase boundary chemical diffusion

Abstract

This chapter tabulates data for interphase boundary chemical diffusion in Al-Cu, Cu-Mo, and Ge-Sn alloy systems. Arrhenius parameters including preexponential factor, activation enthalpy values, and temperature are presented in the table. Further, the table also lists various methods including growth kinetics of grain boundary precipitates (GBP), migration of triple junction (MTJ), electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), Aaron-Aaronson analysis (AA), and and equations, namely, Brailsford-Aaron analysis (BA) and Fisher’s equation for evaluating the interphase boundary chemical diffusion.
