12.2.4 Interphase boundary tracer diffusion

Abstract

This chapter lists data for interphase boundary tracer diffusion in a table. The tracers, Arrhenius parameters including pre-exponential factor and activation enthalpy, and temperature range for diffusion experiment are listed for the matrix, Ag/Fe, Al/Al₂O₃, Co/NbC, Cu/Mo, Fe/Fe-C, Ge/Sn, Ni/NbC. Further the table indicates the equations and methods like serial sectioning, sectioning combined with residual-activity measurements, electron probe microanalysis and autoradiography for evaluating the interphase boundary tracer diffusivities.
