Diffusion in Solid Metals and Alloys · Figures for 9

Abstract

This chapter presents diffusion coefficient graphs for hydrogen (H) and/or its isotopes deuterium (D) and tritium (T), in solid metals versus reciprocal temperature. The solid metals include Be, Ba, Lu, Ti, Hf, Zr, V, Nb, Mo, Ta, W, Fe, Co, Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au, Al, and Th. Diffusion coefficient measurements methods, namely, desorption method, quasi-static Gorsky-effect method, electrochemical pulse method, permeation time-lag method, field emission, current-fluctuation method, gas permeation, time-lag method, electro-chemical AC method, and absorption method are also indicated.
