8.1.2.2.1 Covalent semiconductors

Abstract

This chapter discusses differential reflectance of metals such as Ni(111), Mo(100), W(100), W(110), and W(111). Differential reflectance upon exposure to CO and hydrogen for both s and p polarizations is illustrated. Differential reflectance for near-normal incidence light, upon exposure to O2 and CO is shown.
