Interaction of Charged Particles and Atoms with Surfaces · Table 2 (part 1)

Abstract

This chapter tabulates data related to elastic and inelastic scattering of ions. Spatial and energy distribution of scattered ions, double and multiple scattering, chain scattering, shadowing, blocking and focusing, surface semichanneling and focusing, rainbow scattering, binary collision and multiple collision simulation models, interaction potential, various ion scattering studies, grazing incidence and surface hyperchanneling, skipping motion, molecular ions, thermal vibrations, charge exchange of various ions are tabulated. The ions include Ar, Cu, noble, He, H, K, Li, Na, Ne, Rb, K, H2O, H2, Cs, Si, N2, N and Kr. The methods for calculations are based on Monte Carlo simulation (MC) and binary collision model (BCM). Primary beam energies, ion, surface, remarks and conclusions related to low energy ion scattering are included in the tables.
