Interaction of Charged Particles and Atoms with Surfaces · Se - Zr

Abstract

This chapter presents data on clean and regular surfaces of various elements and compounds including selenium, silicon, silicon carbide, silicon iron, samarium boride, tin oxide, strontium titanate, tantalum, tellurium, thorium, thorium oxide, titanium, titanium carbide, titanium oxide, titanium selenide, uranium oxide, vanadium, vanadium carbide, vanadium oxide, yttrium, yttrium barium copper oxide, yttrium iron oxide, yttrium manganese oxide, tungsten, tungsten oxide, zinc, zinc oxide, zinc sulfide, zinc selenide, zinc telluride and zirconium. Structures of various elements and compounds are discussed. Low-energy electron diffraction (LEED) intensity calculations show a distortion of an ideal structure with formation of dimers. Values and definitions of the ideal structure are tabulated. Atomic coordinates for different atomic numbers are tabulated.
