Abstract

This chapter illustrates the electronic structure of surface of silver (Ag). Illustrations include energy level diagram, density of state curves, surface band structure, projected densities of electronic states, charge density, dispersion of the surface state and surface resonance bands, experimental dispersion relations for the surface states, angle-resolved photoemission spectrum, electronic band structure, final state energy, wave function of surface localized states, energy dependence of phases, and projected band structure with the surface-state band and resonance bands of Ag. Binding energy relative to EF, and effective mass for surface state values of Ag(111) are also tabulated.
